How I write this site

Editorial policy

These are the rules by which every article in mom.pharma is written. They are short, because trust does not need a long text.

Every article in mom.pharma starts from a real question, heard across the pharmacy counter or asked in my social networks. If ten people ask me the same thing, that becomes a topic.

Before I write a single word, I check what the official sources say: the World Health Organization, the European and American agencies, the national health services and the published studies, and I combine this with what I have learned from my practice and my additional training. An advertisement, a forum or “I heard it from someone” is not a source on this site.

I write on my own, in plain language, without softening the truth and without scaring you without reason. When science is uncertain, I say so directly. When something is a myth, I write “myth”, even when it is popular.

Every article has a publication date and a date of last review. When recommendations change, I update the text and the date. If I make a mistake and realise it, I correct it visibly, not quietly.

Some articles contain affiliate links. They are clearly marked and never determine what I write. The recommendation comes first, the link comes after it, only if the product deserves it.

The content here is information, not a diagnosis. For your specific condition there is a doctor, and there is a chat with me, where I answer personally.
